CATES tutors employ a unique approach that fully integrates the various test prep resources on the market. Each tutor balances the quantitative with the qualitative to design a customized program tailored to each student’s specific strengths and weaknesses. Our successful problem-solving methodology focuses on the scholastic and psychological aspects of the learning process, which translates to success both in and outside of the classroom. CATES teaches its students the content, strategies, and test-taking skills needed to realize their goals within their budget, scheduling needs, and time horizon.

The majority of our One-on-One tutoring occurs in the student’s home.  In the event circumstances preclude the tutor from meeting the student in his or her home, tutors are available to meet students at our offices. Tutors are also available to meet at the student’s school, a nearby (quiet!) coffee shop, library, or any other location convenient for the student.
